Environmental requirements are followed in the entire activity of Paekivitoodete Tehase OÜ, which is verified by the certificate ISO 14001:2004. At the contest of "TOP Environment Friendly Organisations" our factory achieved the first place among small and medium companies in the category of implementing the environmental management system.

The policy of Paekivitoodete Tehase OÜ regarding environmental safety is continuous search for and implementation of measures for efficient use of natural resources and for reducing negative impact on environment during limestone mining, fraction gravel production and sales activities.

MAIN GOALS

The main goals and tasks of Paekivitoodete Tehase OÜ in the field of environmental safely are the following:

» effecient use of natural resousrces and continuous implementation of measures to decrease ecological damage causes by production activities.

NEW GUARRIES OPENING

In the future, when starting mining activities in new limestone deposits and opening new quarries, Paekivitoodete Tehase OÜ shall implement the following measures:

» studies in depth the influence on environment with the intention to minimize possible damages to the environment before starting the activities;

» uses reasonably and efficiently natural resources during the process;

» implements new machinery and ecologically improved technology.
